Urban Co-operative Banks (UCBs) have historically played a pivotal role — offering deposit & credit services, supporting small-traders, artisans, micro-enterprises, and the urban middle class, especially across cities and towns where mainstream banking often overlooks small players. Yet, in today’s rapidly digitizing economy, UCBs face multiple headwinds — legacy banking infrastructure, regulatory pressure, rising competition from fintech & commercial banks, governance & compliance challenges, and the need to scale while retaining cooperative values. This summit seeks to catalyze a paradigm shift — helping UCBs transform into agile, tech-native, socially conscious financial institutions, ready for 2030 and beyond. Joining this summit are banking leaders, fintech innovators, regulators, IT solutions providers and change-makers for a landmark two-day summit — where technology meets inclusion, governance meets innovation, and cooperative-ethos meets digital evolution.
